District Health Boards are here to stay.
Health Minister, David Clark said the model isn’t perfect but it has a number of strengths, including transparent democratic elections.
He told Mike Hosking one of the areas he’ll be looking at is the inconsistency in cancer treatment.
“We’ve said we are going to have a National Cancer Agency which will look to set standards across the country to make sure we’ve got best practice uptake.”
