Position Statement: Making informed treatment decisions

Categories: Medical

The Prostate Cancer Foundation of NZ supports a new Position Statement issued by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists that encourages men facing a diagnosis of prostate cancer to have a discussion with both a Urologist and a Radiation Oncologist, about the respective treatment options available to them. This was recently reported in the Otago Daily Times and encourages men, and their families, to be well informed about the choice they can make about their treatment.
