Graeme Woodside, CEO

The Chief Executive Officer of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand, Graeme Woodside, has advised the Board of his retirement, effective early February 2021. The Board very much regrets his retirement but respects his wish to cease full-time employment.

Graeme joined the Foundation as CEO in early spring 2013, having had considerable experience in working for charitable organisations. Over the past seven years his vision, drive and enthusiasm have significantly transformed the Foundation. In addition, he has also chaired for several years, with distinction, CANGO – the alliance of major New Zealand Cancer Non-Governmental Organisations.

The Foundation’s Board and members, and the community of people affected directly, or indirectly, by prostate and testicular cancer have all benefitted greatly as a result of Graeme’s commitment and achievements.

We thank him for his commitment to the Foundation as CEO and wish him, and his wife Denise, well for retirement.

The Board has initiated the process to appoint a new CEO.
