We invite you to join us at the Prostate Cancer Foundation National Conference in Wellington.

The conference is designed to provide helpful information to patients and carers, and also to health professionals involved in prostate cancer care.

While there have been some significant advances in diagnosis and treatments for prostate cancer  in recent years, there are still some real challenges for us to address. Among those are the inconsistencies and disparities in the way men are checked for, and treated with prostate cancer across New Zealand. Maori feature poorly in the survival rates and present a challenge in creating greater awareness and increased rates of routine health checks, that include a prostate test.

At this years conference we want to address these important issues and have invited speakers who will address the current situations, and also provide some insights on into how we can effect change and a make a difference to the lives of men, and families, living with the effects of prostate cancer.

We can make a difference and this conference will challenge us to work for the changes that are needed.
