Fundraise for Prostate

How you can help

We're thrilled that you're keen to help us! Whatever you choose to do please know it will impact on the lives of New Zealanders affected by prostate cancer, both present and future generations.

PCFNZ delivers vital support to all those affected by prostate cancer, their families and whānau, as well as raising awareness, providing information, funding research and advocating for better diagnosis and treatments, and improved standards of care.

With no government funding, this vital work would not be possible without fundraisers and donors like you.

Blue September

Every September, businesses, community groups, families and individuals all over New Zealand join together getting the message out to New Zealand men to “get checked” for prostate cancer, and raise vital funds to help us improve outcomes for the more than 4,000 kiwis diagnosed with the disease every year.

Ride a blue bike, bake a blue cake, wear a blue cape, row across a lake, go for a run or hit a hole in one! This year’s campaign is all about encouraging people to Do Something Blue to Help a Mate Through. The sky’s the limit so hop on over to blueseptember.org.nz for a little inspiration. Registrations for 2025 will open soon.

Dry July

Way to go New Zealand! Over 7700 of you stepped up to the challenge, going Dry for July in 2024. Collectively you raised over $865,000 for people affected by cancer. Your support is helping us provide essential wrap-around support services to men and their families at a time when they need it the most, including the tailored exercise programme Prost-FIT.
